A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Brooklyn and I’m a graphic design student with a passion for animals, books, movies, coffee, and, of course, a really good font.
I enjoy creating thoughtful, story-driven work that feels personal and connects with people in a genuine way. I’m especially drawn to brand identity, publication design, and product packaging. I enjoy projects where I can bring personality and intention to every detail. I love pulling inspiration from my everyday passions and experiences, using them to shape designs that feel both authentic and engaging.
I primarily work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, taking ideas from quick sketches and journal notes to fully realized designs. I also have experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the Microsoft Suite.
I’m always looking for ways to grow, experiment with new ideas, and continue pushing my creative boundaries.

Things that Inspire Me
My family and friends mean everything to me. They’ve supported me through every step of what I’ve been able to accomplish. I also have 11 pets which include a dog, two cats, and eight chickens (all named after Taylor Swift songs because what else would you name them?).
Before design, I spent time working closely with animals in veterinary medicine. That experience shaped how I approach my work today. It taught me to lead with empathy, to listen closely, and to prioritize the needs of others. I learned to think beyond the task at hand and focus on what truly matters to clients, a mindset I now carry into design as I help bring their ideas and inspirations to life.
I love connecting with people and getting to “nerd out” over what they’re passionate about. For me, that’s movies, books, music, and finding the best coffee spots in town; even if I always end up ordering a chai latte.
I’ve loved drawing for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until high school that I realized I could turn that passion into a career in graphic design. I owe a lot to my favorite teacher, Mrs. Scales, who inspired me and she challenged me in ways that still shape my work today. She taught me everything she knew, which was a lot, she helped build my love for design and even if she would scale my designs up to 25000% to point out the one anchor point which was slightly off in my design, all I could do was laugh, fix it, and then bring that same level of detail to every project there after. More than a teacher, she became a lifelong influence I’ll always carry with me.
